For churches

Giving records your treasurer can trust.

Every gift paid through Stripe, recurring giving or a one-time gift, becomes a signed receipt and a line in sealed, replayable books. Givers can check their own receipts, no account.

  • Signed receipts givers can check themselves.
  • A sealed month for every board meeting, not a spreadsheet.
  • Open exports for your accountant: hledger, Parquet and CSV.
  • Year-end giving statements, one per giver.Later

Simulated · invented names · synthetic data

A year of giving, simulated.

Cedar Hill Community Church is invented. A seeded scenario runs its year through the engine, hledger and DuckDB, and all three give the same KPI hash. Run it yourself with the command on the card. See every preset and where the simulations simplify.

What's modelled

  • Sixty households give $25, $50, $100 or $250 a month, or the same yearly
  • About a quarter give yearly
  • Some add a one-time gift, a roof-campaign gift or a retreat registration
  • A few mistaken gifts refunded, often in part
  • A nonprofit card rate: 2.2% + 30¢

Three things that weigh on a church treasurer

1. Giving records the treasurer trusts

Recurring giving at each giving level, one-time gifts and the roof campaign arrive through Stripe, then end up in a spreadsheet one person understands.

How Trifold answers it (chapters 01 and 02, Money in and Books): every gift lands as an event and posts as balanced books, automatically. Corrections are new events, never edits, so the record of what was given doesn’t quietly change.

2. A monthly report to the board

How Trifold answers it (chapter 03, Proof): seal each month before the board meets. A seal is a signed fingerprint of the month’s gifts; anyone holding it can check that the month hasn’t changed since.

3. Givers asking for their year’s total

How Trifold answers it: today, every gift has a receipt signed with your church’s key, and a giver can check it on the verify page without an account. Your books export to hledger, Parquet and CSV for your accountant. Year-end giving statements, one per giver, are on the roadmap, marked Later.

Planned pricing

Churches get the planned non-profit pricing on the pricing page. It is a plan, not an offer, and may change before launch.
